Meeting Time/Day/Place: We start planning each concert season in April and meet approximately every 3 weeks until all bookings have been completed and confirmed. Our committee then ensures they are present at each of the summer events to continue promoting and encouraging all to participate.

Major Projects: Organize and book the bands for the Tuesday night concerts. We also line up the groups to host the 'picnic in the park' as well as popcorn and root beer float booths.

Population Served: Our main group served is our community (including entire families) who enjoy our outside music concerts. Our group also donates the funds annually to cover the cost of the performing band at National Night Out to aid the Auxiliary Police in their annual fundraiser. Another area in which we are able to serve groups include the hosts of the picnics in the park. These events have become important fundraisers to help continually support other local causes.

Other: It is a fun summer project to be a part of. It is very rewarding to see individuals and families come to the free outdoor concerts and enjoy the camaraderie of both 'old' friends and 'new' friends. Picnics in the park along with popcorn and root beer floats seem to top off the evening for our guests. These events cater to people of all ages!
